RULES FOR VISITING THE JAPANESE GARDEN

  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. The Japanese Garden, located at: 107 Amir Temur Street, Yunusabad District, Tashkent, operated by the Joint Stock Company “National Exhibition Company Uzexpocentre” (hereinafter – JSC “NEC Uzexpocentre”), is a place for cultural recreation and leisure.

1.2. These Rules establish the procedure for visiting the Japanese Garden and are mandatory for all visitors. In case of gross violations, threats to public order or safety, the administration of the Japanese Garden has the right to refuse entry and services.

1.3. The administration of the Japanese Garden reserves the right to amend these Rules. The current version is available on official information boards and/or the company’s website.

1.4. The garden’s working hours, list of additional services, and price list are displayed at the entrance and may be adjusted by the administration.

  1. VISITORS’ RIGHTS

2.1. To use all available services of the Japanese Garden in accordance with these Rules.

2.2. To obtain information about the garden and events by phone: +998 95 156 22 22.

  1. VISITORS’ OBLIGATIONS

3.1. To comply with these Rules, respect other visitors and staff, and treat garden property with care.

3.2. To purchase an entrance ticket. Purchasing a ticket confirms acceptance of these Rules.

3.3. Upon request of security (if justified), to present personal belongings for visual inspection in accordance with ethical standards.

3.4. To immediately report emergencies, lost items, or safety threats to staff.

3.5. Minors must be under constant adult supervision.

  1. PROHIBITIONS

4.1. Being under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or toxic substances.

4.2. Bringing or consuming alcohol, drugs, pyrotechnics, weapons, or gas sprays.

4.3. Using any types of pyrotechnics, including firecrackers, sparklers, fireworks, smoke bombs, and confetti balloons.

4.4. Littering, throwing garbage, or making fires.

4.5. Bringing or consuming sunflower seeds.

4.6. Using blankets or mats with waterproof backing that damage the lawn, as well as bringing pillows, kurpachas, or non-breathable coverings.

4.7. Swimming in ponds, sunbathing in unauthorized areas, or being partially or fully undressed.

4.8. Playing active games (football, badminton, etc.); bringing balls, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, roller skates.

4.9. Disturbing the peace, using sound amplification equipment, or playing music without headphones.

4.10. Conducting photo/video shoots, advertising or commercial activities without written permission from the administration.

4.11. Entering restricted or service areas.

4.12. Entering with animals.

4.13. Leaving children unattended.

4.14. Interfering with the duties of staff or security.

4.15. Bringing or consuming melons, watermelons, or similar products within the garden.

  1. LIABILITY

5.1. Visitors must fully compensate for any damage caused to the garden’s property. The amount is determined based on repair or replacement costs.

5.2. The administration is not responsible for accidents resulting from violations of these Rules.

5.3. The administration is not responsible for unattended personal belongings.

5.4. The administration reserves the right to close the garden earlier if necessary.

  1. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

6.1. These Rules are based on the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the Law “On Consumer Protection”, as well as sanitary and fire safety regulations.

6.2. Assistance may be provided to persons with disabilities within the technical capabilities of the facility.

6.3. In case of early closure initiated by the administration, compensation or rescheduling may be provided.

6.4. Video surveillance is conducted in the Japanese Garden to ensure public safety and compliance with these Rules. Video recording is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
